Fall 2025 New Members
Join Us in welcoming our newest initiates into SAI Epsilon Pi! This Fall, we had two new members join our chapter, Daphne Golden and Amelia Evans. On their journey to becoming fully-fledged members, they spent weeks learning about the history and purpose of SAI before passing their exams to become members. During their MIT season, they worked together with their sponsors and our VP of Membership Lexi Balog to host a fundraiser, a musicale, and a service-project. Congratulatio

North Star 2025
With the support of Sigma Alpha Iota’s Impact Grant, the North Star New Music Festival took place October 24–25, featuring three guest artists and commissioned composer William Averitt. The festival opened with a performance by the award-winning Vinola Trio, including our own staff pianist Dr. Xiang. Music Retreat 2025
This semester, the K-2nd graders learned about rhythm and performed together a piece with rhythm sticks. The 3-5th grade group wrote and performed an original song titled "It's Really Cool to Make Friends." Both groups came together to learn and perform "How Far I'll Go" from Moana. Spring Fling 2025
During 2025, we collaborated with Truman Media Network to host our Spring Fling event on April 11th. We welcomed numerous ensembles, including both jazz bands as well as a capella groups and student bands. Some of the student-favorite events included the Faculty Band and their performance of "I Love Rock and Roll" as well as Pie-a-Professor, in which we held a fundraising competition in which people could donate money for the highest-earning professor to get pied in the face.
